Light
For this project we had to learn how a building takes in and uses light. As the sun moves across the sky light will enter the building in different areas. Using different techniques such as backlighting and reflector shields we were able to control the light coming into the building. For this project we had to use different techniques incorporated into our chapels that will be built on Farmingdale's campus.

SITE SELECTION
I decided to pick this location on Farmingdale’s campus because it is in an open area off a well traveled pathway, so that students and faculty can use the chapels as they please. There are not many buildings surrounding this area so the sunlight needed for the chapels will not be interfered with. The Main Chapel and the Memorial Chapel are positioned to receive daylight, and the Meditation Chapel will receive evening light.
